Challenges of organic farmers

apanest.com

Hello all,

As an organic farmer, i wish to bring some of the challenges we face:

Does all the mangoes are harvested by US?

Definitely NO . Some fruits are half eaten by the birds. We can’t say in percentage of how much they eat. Even if it is a small single bite, We can’t sell it.
*
Does all the Mangoes be sold?
Definitely NO .
Some get rotten before plucking as well as after plucking or on the delivery process. So we can’t sell them too.
Since it is 100% organic, the life is also less.

As a farmer, do we eat fresh and good mangoes?

Definitely NO . We usually consume the less soggy or less rotten mangoes. We cut and remove the soggy or rotten part and eat the rest to avoid more wastage.

Our learning experience :

We planned to send Mango Parcel to Salem through salem bus to one of our Family friend cum a Doctor, day before yesterday. But we couldn’t send the parcel as planned and it was sent yesterday. Out
of the Mangoes sent, 5 mangoes had gone little soggy.

I am a daughter of farmer. Who ever visits our house, my parents would give them whatever we have grown by that time and whomsoever house we visit, we will take with us what we have grown by that time. It’s all like sharing of love or gift culture.

Now we are selling our fram produce to outer world not with the intention of making more and more money but to make Agriculture sustain and sustain through agriculture.

We don’t guarantee 100 % safe delivery because book of nature can be learnt only through connection and experience. Since our farm produce are nature’s gift, we accept it as such. But when it comes to customers, if there is any damages, we will take responsibility. We value your relationship above all. So we don’t take money from any of our customers for the damage. Inreturn, we replace for the loss.

Thank you
